This one was for Dr. Patrick, the craziest Platonist I've ever known.

UNIVERSALS.

Think of yourself
As a speck of star-dust
Long-lost from your point of
Origin.

Now think of yourself
As a member of god-spell
Verses.

For each man, woman, & child
Imports his vice + virtues
Into Christ's wearied Eyes.

Now think of yourself
As the author of your own
Story.

Which particulars matter?
Which don't?
Which characters will live?
Which characters will die?
Who survives & thrives?

But Where Am I
In All This Vast
Universe?
